Can we use canola oil?|
I've been on this diet before and i had magical results. However, i never got past the bananas and milk day. By then the smell of fruits and veggies made me nauseous. Even so, i lost about 10 pounds. The week before I tried to shrink my stomach a little by not eating too much meat or bad foods, which is what i think you need to do otherwise youll crave them like no other. This was two years ago, and now im ready to start the diet again.
This time, i think i'm going to try different recipes so i dont feel sick eating so many of the same veggies. I want to try making grilled eggplant on the second day to toss together with fresh tomatoes and basil. I have a small George Foreman grill and you need to grease it before using. Can i use canola oil for this? I know that is one of the lowest in fat oils...if not i will try to cook it a different way. Also im planning on roasting some asparagus and broccollini because they are so tasty when roasted. When day 2 comes around im really going to want that baked potato. Mmm, i can smell it now. Also, one of my favorite recipes for the first day is a great fruit smoothie composed of orange juice, frozen peaches and frozen raspberries. Tastes better than any Jamba Juice!
